Pine Hardwood Flooring

Pine wood represents healing, fertility, and protection, and is a great choice for your home, for it is resilient and beautiful as well. Pine wood is known for its soft, fine texture, and has a beautiful color, a sort of light brown or creamy white, which can later change with time to a more yellowish hue. A great advantage to pine hardwood is that it does not shrink or contract as a result of changes in moisture or temperature; they remain resilient to these changes in the air, and are great for installation in any area or location. Pine hardwood flooring is available in both prefinished and unfinished. The color of pine can vary anywhere from a light yellow or orange color, to a reddish brown or yellowish brown color. The grains are usually closed and have high figuring, but come in diverse styles as well. The texture is uniform most of the time, but rings can be noticed in the hardwood as well.
